My best element is animals of any kind that live globally with humankind. Creatures of this world vary in shapes, sizes and colors and also have brilliant characteristics unlike man himself. In this text I’ll discuss mainly about Kenya’s wildlife and major tourist attraction sites. A country’s heritage and splendor mainly comprises of its wildlife. Kenya is among many African countries that is rich in culture and wildlife. In Kenya, there are magnificent Game Reserves and National Parks. Among the most famous are:
Nairobi National Park / Animal Orphanage
It boasts to be the only national park in the world within a 30 kilometers radius of a city. This park is equipped with the best facilities for accommodation for tourists. It is suitable for tourists or visitors who would like to just get a small exposure to animals. There are giraffes, antelopes, lions, leopards, chimpanzees, e.t.c.
Nakuru National Park
This park is situated just almost next to Nakuru town (an agricultural town). It lies next to Lake Nakuru which is a Rift Valley Lake. This park is famous for exotic and indigenous breeds of birds. It is mostly famous for the largest count of flamingoes in Africa.
Amboseli National Park
It contains one of the most interesting and unique hotels : the Tree Tops. From the balcony of your room you can spot the Big Five (Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Elephant). This is surely the place to be.
Maasai Mara and Serengeti
It is renown for the annual migration of wildebeest between it and Serengeti. The migration of the massive numbers of wildebeest is a magical spectacle to behold. It is though unbelievable that recently a mother lioness has adopted 2 baby oryxes. This event has captured public attention and has forced the rangers to separate these 2 creatures, which are not meant to be together.
I can’t finish this text without talking about Lenana’s creatures. Our school stands out to be the only school with monkeys living side by side with man. Naturally our school is quite large so the monkeys are free to move about in the school compound. The food is enough to sustain them and in times of hardships they can always steal in our houses any edibles !

Our dogs
Aquinas High School is located in Makadara, some ten kilometres from the city centre (Nairobi). Being situated in the sprawling suburbs of Eastlands, the day to day issue is insecurity. The police having tried to do their best in controlling the situation, it is only left upon the people to try and fight insecurity for their own sake. The security of the school and the community within has to be on the forefront; with this in mind the school has contracted a local security firm to offer the services. The security guards use locally trained dogs of different breeds, but the common breed is the black lab. The reason as to why this breed is preferred is because of their fierce nature and spectacular performance in stalking intruders and trespassers. The dogs are about 2-3 years old and weighing 25 kg, they are mostly black in colour with some being brown.
