Year 1 has 5 classes, year 2 has 5 classes, year 3 has 5 classes, year 4 has 9 classes, year 5 has 10 classes and year 6 has 10 classes. We study in year 6, class 6/10. In our classroom, there are 35 people, 18 girls and the class is portioned in four groups. We study from Monday to Friday but in the afternoon of Friday, we do not study because all people in the school are cleaning the field of the school. Every day after break time, we are cleaning our classroom or we do activity. Activities in our school are : cleaning, playing football, basketball, kator (kator is a popular sport in the Asia : it consists in kicking a rattan ball with your head or your feet, over a net to another team). In my classroom, there are excellent students, so we must pay attention to study for taking a high score. In study time, we are listening to the teacher. Sometimes, we do activity in group. Activities in my classroom are : study, sing songs and dance. After finishing study in the afternoon, we go home. Some people stay at school for special courses.

In our class, there are 70 students. There are a lot of teachers, about 86 teachers in total, and there are seven buildings and meeting buildings and an office. In the school grounds, it’s very clean because every class must clean and then the teachers will check every day that every room is clean. On every Monday morning, the teachers give red flags for clean rooms and black flags for not clean rooms, if a room gets a black flag, that class will have to clean the student toilets. This school was built about 30 years ago, it’s a very old school and the school is still able to teach many people.

Hello everybody ! We are Laotians from a bilingual class of Savanh Secondary School in Savannakhet. We are in L2. Our school is located in the city centre. It was built in 1962. It is big with 2480 students and 90 teachers. It consists in 11 buildings and 45 classes, the football and the basket-ball fields, 4 offices, the pillar for the flag in the middle of the yard. Our school is like our home because we are more at school than at home, except for Saturday and Sunday.
Our class is in the first building, in front of the basket-ball field. It is big and aerated with 8 windows and 4 doors. It has objects that are comfortable for us, such as : fans ... There are 29 students including 17 girls and 12 boys. The students of each class must clean their class that is why our class is always clean. Inside, we decorate it with special slogan for our country, pictures and images. Every day, the students must sweep the class, effacer the blackboard before the bell rings. Teachers of our school will give red flags to the clean classes, however for the dirty classes, it is a black flag. In front of and behind our class, we have planted flowers which open during lunch time and that Laotians call Dok Ban Thiang. They are small flowers but they are beautiful and have many colours like : dark pink, white, yellow, red and orange.
Students of our class strictly respect the school rules. Here is the uniform of our school : you must wear a white shirt with a name tag above the left pocket and a logo on the left sleeve of the shirt. For the girls, you must wear a traditional Lao skirt that we call Sinh. The boys have to wear blue pants. You must also wear sandals. During the break, students work at discovering their lessons. But some do not and gather to play sport or sing music ...
According to us, school is very important for everybody. It is a place where everybody must go in order to have a good job and a good future. We like our school, although it is old. We hope that all the people who read our project will like our school and that new students will not damage it. At last, we invite you to visit our country. All Laotians will be pleased to welcome you any time. Good bye and good luck !
